Individual Accused in Ivy League Campus Tragedy Found Discovered Deceased Inside Storage Unit.

The man believed to be the recent deadly shooting incident at Brown University reportedly took his own life on Thursday evening, as stated by officials.

His body was discovered at a storage facility on Thursday evening, according to information from an enforcement source. This suspect is also suspected of killing a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor at a residence in the Boston area.

“He committed suicide this evening,” stated the head of the Providence police department during a press conference.

The police official identified the individual as Claudio Nevis Valenti, a 48-year-old individual enrolled at Brown University.

This development comes after a major police operation at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire earlier on Thursday. Journalists on scene described seeing numerous armed officers entering the location.

The intensive search for the shooter had resumed on Monday after the attorney general's office announced that a person of interest on Sunday had been let go. This development was acknowledged to be likely to cause fresh anxiety for the local community.

City leadership noted that while the release was a setback, the overall case was not paused unabated.

The two students who were killed in the attack have been named by family. They are Ella Cook, a sophomore from Alabama who was served as vice-president for a campus political group, and MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, an international student in his first year who aspired to a neurosurgeon.

Officials are scheduled to hold a press conference to provide additional information on the suspect's death.
